Student guidance for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Do you have ASD and do you have study problems as a result or do you want to prevent them? As a UvA student you can make use of the ASD student guidance that the UvA offers.

A diagnosis made by a mental health care institution, private psychologist or psychiatrist and counseling from a mental health care provider.

Recognising and preventing problems that may lead to lagging behind in your study.

As a student, you are assigned a mentor with whom you meet at fixed times. You discuss your study activities and any problems you encounter. You will draw up a study plan together, and adjust this when necessary. In this way, problems that can lead to study delay can be identified in time. If necessary, we also offer help in contacting teachers, study advisers or student counsellors.

The ASD student guidance is free of charge.
