This minor enables you to solve issues around human resource management ('people management'). You will be encouraged to adopt a critical approach towards the many theoretical perspectives within the professional field and then apply the knowledge that you have gained to practical situations.
Transition to a Master
This minor does not provide direct admission to the Master’s programme in Business Administration. Depending on your Bachelor's programme, it may provide enough in depth knowledge for a conditional admission.

Entry requirements
- You must have successfully completed your first year (60 EC) of a Bachelor’s programme at a research university (WO).
- Students from a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) who finished their first-year programme (60 EC) can also be admitted.
- No prior knowledge in Economics or Mathematics is required.
- This minor is not open to students of UvA Economics and Business Bachelor's programme in Business Administration.
